Anyone who thought vinyl was dead – is wrong!

That was proved when two of the best in the electronic dance music industry came together to record collaboration straight to vinyl in front of a live audience.

Underworld joined Gorgon City on stage at the legendary Abbey Road Studios to performed a re-worked version of Underworld’s 90s’ masterpiece Cowgirl.

The record marked the launch of the Carling Black Label Project, which aims to bring together the best of Britain’s established and emerging talent through a series of live events.

Gorgon City’s recent album Sirens catapulted them straight into the Top 10 and certainly went down a treat with the fans, while Underworld, fresh from their unique live show at the Royal Festival Hall, took to the stage to delight the crowd with their timeless tracks.
