A famous mother and daughter duo are stepping out at Battersea Park in aid of dementia.
Sharon Maughan, from Holby City, and her daughter, Alice Eve, who starred in Star Trek Into Darkness are taking part in the Memory Walk on Sunday, September 21, in aid of a member of thier family.
Ms Maughan's mother, Norah, 91, is living with the early stages of Alzheimer's, and will be on the sidelines cheering on her family as they walk the 10km course to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society.
It is hoped around 1,000 people will take part in the day and Ms Maughan said: "It's a wonderful way to support people living with dementia, help continue the work of Alzheimer's Society and ultimately find a cure for the disease."
