Courteney Cox could soon be making her way back onto our screens to star in a new ITV show.
She is set to star – as well as executive produce – in new comedy series Truthing, with the pilot to be shot in 2017, according to Deadline.
The Friends star will play the charismatic, hippie leader of a healing retreat called Clear-Path Institude. The show will follow her struggles as she tries to enlighten a new round of truth-seeking recruits.
ITV is said to have beaten several other UK broadcasters to take on the series, which will be a UK/US production.
It will be Courteney’s first time doing a UK-based TV show – though Friends fans will of course remember the time Monica and Chandler got together for the first time in a London hotel room in The One With Ross’ Wedding.
Courteney follows in the footsteps of some of her Friends co-stars by venturing across the pond, with David Schwimmer starring in Channel 4 sitcom Morning Has Broken, Matthew Perry taking to London’s West End for his play The End Of Longing and of course Matt LeBlanc’s Top Gear presenting gig.
