They have been labelled Austria’s greatest musical export since Mozart and they are now bringing their 20th anniversary tour to Kingston.

Mnozil Brass are performing eight shows to celebrate two decades of mnoziling their way around the world, including a performance at the Rose Theatre in October.

The seven-piece ensemble, which comprises trumpets, trombones and a tuba, have long entertained audiences with unique musical performances.

Combining musical excellence with slapstick humour and athleticism, Mnozil Brass jump between genres from Michael Jackson to Eric Satie.

Wilfried Brandstotter, tuba player, says: “Comedy and entertainment was a part from the very beginning. People love to be entertained and they also love the interaction between the stage and themselves.

“We particularly love to perform in the UK, with one of our highlights being when we performed at the Royal Albert Hall.

"We are really looking forward to coming back to the UK for our anniversary tour.”

Formed at the University of Music in Vienna, Mnozil Brass began as students performing in a local pub.

Since then they have gone on to tour worldwide, and now play 130 dates a year.
