Orleans House Gallery will open its doors late, offering visitors a one-off experience as part of this year’s Museums at Night.

The gallery joins some of country’s biggest museums in the annual festival.

The late night cultural celebrations seek to bring visitors into museums, galleries and heritage sites by throwing doors open after hours and putting on special evening events.

Orleans House Gallery will host an evening of dance performances and features two exciting exhibitions when doors open until 9pm.

Both gallery spaces will remain open and feature the New Georgians exhibition and Art and Soul: Expressions.

Dance performances throughout the evening have been specially created for the Octagon Room and choreographed by Rosie Whitney-Fish featuring students from Grey Court School.

The event is part of the Gallery’s Georgian Festival.

The gallery’s licensed cafe will also be open late serving supper.
