Conservationist: Simon Reeve will speak about wildlife and film-making
TV presenter and documentary filmmaker Simon Reeve will speak at the WWT London Wetland Centre this month about conservation, wildlife and film-making.
Reeve’s TV series, such as Equator and Indian Ocean, have taken him through more than 110 countries and seen him dive with sharks, survive malaria and walk through minefields.
Reeve, who has a keen interest in wildlife and the environment, has witnessed key conservation issues first hand, including the degradation of vital wetlands such as Kenya’s Tana river delta.
London Wetland Centre event organiser Jamie Wyver said: “We are thrilled that Simon will be joining us for this special event. It’ll be a great opportunity to find out what life is like for a travel documentary maker and hear about the wildlife and conservation issues he has encountered.”
Tickets are £15 plus the cost of admission to the centre for non WWT members, and are available from WWT London Wetland Centre on 020 8409 4400.
