Amanda Holden finds man's body in Kew

A man's body was found in Kew yesterday by actress Amanda Holden while she was out for a jog.

The star, who was married to Les Dennis for seven years, came across the body - which was hanging from a tree - while out running with her personal trainer.

The 39-year-old and her instructor sprinted off to call emergency services before returning the spot on the Thames tow path where they had found the corpse.

According to a spokesman for the Met there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

The man's body was found with a noose around his neck and slumped against a tree.

Speaking to the Daily Mail the Wild At Heart star said: "I was surprisingly calm at the time. I just feel very sad for the man and his family."
