Charlotte Church slates 'rude' Winehouse

Feisty Welsh singer Charlotte Church has laid into Amy Winehouse, saying the Rehab singer's concert no-shows are inexcusable.

"It's just rude if you ask me," the Voice of an Angel star told OK magazine. "I always performed well, turned up, did my duties."

Charlotte, 21, who is pregnant with rugby player Gavin Henson's baby, also criticised Amy's appearance on her chatshow which was riddled with difficulties.

"When she turned up for rehearsal she was drunkshe kept forgetting her words. Come the show, we had to do a few takes."

Troubled singer Amy, a former student at Croydon's Brit School, reportedly left rehab for a second time on Sunday after a series of rows with her hubby Blake Fielder-Civil.

The skinny star was rushed to London's University College Hospital on August 8 at 1am.

Although her record label Island Records said she was suffering from severe exhaustion, it is thought her collapse was due to a three day drink and drugs binge.

Amy pulled out of the V Festival and has put her other touring commitments on hold.

Thats a fair point, that "crazy chick" was always out on the town before she got a scone in the oven. She wrote the book on getting wasted!

Charlotte's comments seem rather nieve to me, coming from a very priviliged and very lucky young lady who was only spotted by ITV1's 'This Morning' show. I seem to remember photo's in the paper when she herself was falling out of nightclubs?

What Charlotte doesn't seem to recognise is that Amy appears to have addictions, so to criticise her for that shows very little understanding.

She'd have come across much more positive and higher in my estimations if she'd publicy wished that Amy got better soon.

After all, Amy seems to be dying very slowly (look at her?) and in the public eye as well.

I hope Amy can sort herself out soon before it's too late.

On the contrary, I hope Whinehouse offs herself with heroin or crack or whatever she's 'addicted' to so we can stop hearing, not only her untalented and irritating caterwauling, but about her oh so kewl junkie lifestyle. Skanks like this don't deserve the life they've been handed, and **** it away with both hands while insulting their fans with actions and performances like she's been giving.

I truly hope she just goes away, either to prison (unlikely, given UK's non-existent drug laws) an insane asylum, invalid home or in a box 6 feet under, I don't really care which.
